GIRLS CAN

I was honoured to be asked to do a motivational ‘GIRLS CAN’ speech at Leighton Park School last Thursday! What a fabulous initiative.

My summary slide:

👉🏻 Do what you love… and be prepared to accept that your love will change, that’s ok

👉🏻 Set yourself goals

👉🏻 Create bite-size routines

👉🏻 Keep learning so you grow and open the door to further success

👉🏻 BE NICE TO PEOPLE

The students were so attentive, polite and focused -a wonderful experience which certainly helped me and my first-motivational-speech nerves!

The ‘Dance with Sonia Brown’ summer ball!

FINALLY, our first-ever party! How wonderful it was to see everyone dressed up last night, mixing with other classes, and going wild on the dance floor!

Also, the best ‘Venga bus’ yet!

A SUPER DUPER THANK YOU to my dancer Diane and her family for letting us take over the beautiful Old Mill at Aldermaston.
