We were honoured to be approached by Newbury BID to digitally perform in Newbury's Christmas lights switch-on event despite only launching our local classes in September. The committee chose to show our Somewhere Over the Rainbow video as the only dance performance alongside local choirs.
It was quite emotional to be part of and enjoy as an audience member. A lovely end to a trying year.

Despite being in lockdown 2.0, our tap dancers and Silver Swans were bought together digitally for the live airing of the JUMP! showcase. Having only begun tap dancing in September, the Low-Impact Tappers impressed online audiences with their upbeat routine to Olly Murs' Dance With Me Tonight, with a special appearance from our Advanced Tappers. In the aftershow discussion, the other performers and artists couldn't believe we had filmed it on their 6th ever tap lesson!
Silver Swans also performed as a fully choreographed Corps de Ballet for the first time to a piece from Giselle. We had many new Swans join in too and loved donning the tiaras for a little showbiz sparkle!
Despite watching individually in our own homes, it was a fantastic evening, full of excitement, discussion on the WhatsApp groups and post-show adrenaline. We really felt as though we had been there all together.
