Presenting alongside the RAD big dogs!

Yesterday I had the honour of presenting my research to an online audience at the Royal Academy of Dance Member’s Conference with RAD’s Artistic Director Alexander Campbell & Deputy Artistic Director Nathan James (with Chief Exec Elizabeth Honer in the room watching!)

I am in awe of Alexander and Nathan’s presentation skills - they make it look so so easy!

It was a nerve-wracking but very rewarding experience, and I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to share my work alongside such incredible professionals! It felt a bit like I was on This Morning as I had to switch my focus between camera A & B depending on where the green light popped up! 

I hope that my presentation encouraged others to undertake a dance research degree such as the MAE at the RAD.

I’m now looking forward to my next visit to the RAD HQ in just 3 weeks time! I’ll be running some jazz sessions at the Silver Swans Celebration day!
