Thatcham Gold Community Award winner!!

On the 5th of May, Sonia received a Gold Community Award in recognition of services to dance and the positive impact it has had on Thatcham’s community!

It is wonderful for dance and performing arts to be recognised as an important aspect of the community! As a sector, we’re so used to being overlooked so this award is greatly appreciated - It was an honour to simply be nominated, but to win the award is extra special!

Well done to all of the other nominees and winners, and thank you once again to Thatcham Town Council! Sonia will (and does) wear her badge with honour!

Collecting mayors

May 2022

This month, we've been hosting some very special guests to our Silver Swan classes! We had not one, not two, but THREE different local mayors come to watch and take part in our classes, all in the space of one week!

A big well done and thank you to the Mayors of Newbury, Wokingham and Reading; it was a pleasure having you!

We have now officially completed our mayor collection with a visit from the mayor of every location we teach classes in; Reading, Wokingham, Thatcham and Newbury! Woo hoo!
