World Ballet Day 2020 on the 29th October arrived at the end of a testing year for everybody, but especially those struggling with their mental health. The Silver Swans created their second home-video, this time including ensemble studio and online work, as well as individual submissions in aid of the mental health charity MIND.
As well as cheering our digital audience up with our lovely rainbow colours, beautiful dancing and positive message, we raised over £600 for the charity!

Basingstoke based cancer charity, The Pink Place invited Silver Swans to join them for their MOVE-ember challenge. Guests of The Pink Place were invited to try new forms of exercise to boost morale, mood and energy.
Sonia offered a free ballet and tap workshop aimed at making the participants feel gorgeous! The MOVE-ember campaign was featured in the Basingstoke Gazette too, have a read here. We were so pleased to be asked, and hope to work with The Pink Place again in the near future.
